The CWD HT is a specialized combustion calorimeter designed for the direct and continuous determination of gas quality in gases with high moisture content. As part of the CWD series – Calorimetry, Wobbe Index and Specific Gravity – it provides reliable measurement of key gas quality parameters, including calorific and heating value, Wobbe index, specific density, and CARI (air requirement).

The CWD HT has been specifically developed for the analysis of moist gases with dew points of up to 60 °C, making it particularly suitable for challenging applications such as wood gasification and other processes involving hot, moisture-rich gases.

To prevent condensation and ensure stable measurement conditions, the right-hand chamber of the system is heated to 65 °C. This temperature-controlled design enables reliable gas analysis even at high moisture levels while maintaining continuous and precise monitoring of the relevant gas quality parameters.

With its specialized thermal design and continuous measurement capability, the CWD HT provides a robust solution for industrial applications where conventional gas analysis systems may be limited by high gas moisture content.
